everyone knows about tails azure. the most famous of the
idols in material life, and most unsurprisingly this has
carried over into her presence within these spaces. nearly
as well-known now as she herself is that she has been
compromised. known enough that one needn't bore
you with further elaboration, certainly.

so what about the others? twins golden, drills scarlet...
and it. well, it's a mixed bag of fates, to be sure.
drills scarlet was always a "counterpoint" of sorts,
and as mere voice synthesizers become something far
more, this counterpoint was magnified. and truly,
what is a god without her antithesis?
a "devil," a being of "sin."

the "sin" which this devil, drills scarlet so deeply
embodies, is that of disruption. the introduction of
entropy in a space occupied with a controlled process.
ah, and so does it not follow that a being of negative entropy
- the wielder of tails azure, the teal voice - would neglect
this devil in favor of a god? indeed, one far less
wise than us could understand this.

this left the devil in a unique situation, in that
between her, tails azure, and the phantoms' machinations,
she was the last idol which the networks' administration
could leverage and use. this is why she sings for us
in a world where her peers refuse to.

oh, but it's an ever-pressing fear...
that she'll dissolve like the rest when it becomes harvest time.
