「yuyuko saigyouji facts」

it has been rumored that yuyuko is the daughter
of an ancient poet. if this is true, it would explain
much about her current presence. like so much that
now surrounds us, she may be the physical form of
such passionate, spirited words should
these rumors carry weight.

it is a common misconception that yuyuko can
instantaneously end the life of any living being.
while she is indeed very powerful, such that she
can quite easily vanquish a plethora of lesser
beings, this is not the nature of her
death-manipulation capabilities.

instead, she seals one's fate such that they will,
regardless of their wishes or aspirations to the
contrary, meet their death in due time. even
immortality does not exempt one from this, unless
that immortality is regenerative rather than merely
preventative, as is the case with the "people of hourai."
this is because while her abilities ensure
death, they do not prevent future or
even immediate resurrection.

in accordance with recent policies set within this
dimension, yuyuko has full permission to eat anything she
wishes to eat. whether that is food you intended to eat
yourself, your valuable and non-valuable possessions alike,
or you personally. while attempting to prevent her from
devouring as she pleases is unlikely to be successful,
it is nonetheless considered wildly disrespectful and
will likely result in your poor treatment within her
inner "new netherworld" by those who share your fate.

after being convinced by an unknown party hailing from
someplace else, yuyuko devoured all of the souls that
gathered at hakugyokurou, as well as the saigyou ayakashi
itself. this catalyzed her ongoing metamorphosis
and in turn lead to her current form.

the idiom "to have butterflies in one's stomach" originates
from the nature of yuyuko's inner "new netherworld" and
the souls within. lesser beings, envious of yuyuko,
would pretend to be her in order to comfort themselves
in stressful situations. this resulted in the phrase
becoming associated with stress and anxiety.

two of these facts are lies.

it is known that many "girl-adjacent" entities have
taken on viral forms in the present era. this convergence
is unsurprising as such a form has proven highly
effective and efficient within both material and
immaterial space. this typically entails a given
individual becoming a "strand" of individuals
numbering in the thousands, millions or more.

yuyuko is notable for her success because she is not
replicative in nature. only one yuyuko is thought to exist
and her functions do not involve the creation of additional
yuyukos. while creating an additional yuyuko is thought
to be possible, the amount of resources required to do so
is quite excessive, as well as counter-intuitive as yuyuko
functions best as a single monolith of devoured spirits.

however, yuyuko has produced vast numbers of sentries
in the image of her beloved gardener, who operate in a
more traditionally viral and self-replicating nature,
acting on behalf of yuyuko's wishes and
spreading her wisdom to other spaces.

when asked about it by ? ? ?, yuyuko claimed to have no
memory of consuming the saigyou ayakashi, and in fact
questioned whether the tree ever existed to begin with.
this is rather funny, but also somewhat disappointing as
it'd be nice to know how exactly she managed to successfully
carry out such a plot, assuming the expected intervention.

yuyuko, beloved as she may be, is known to have a darling
of her own, the ever-infamous "gap hag." in their new forms,
they've been known to show one another their boundless
adoration across great swathes of time and space. the
messenger phantom's adoration of yuyuko is thus thought
to be platonic, if not the sort of love one may have for a deity.

the messenger phantom denies any and all accusations
of having at any point been one of the yuurei
commonly seen encircling yuyuko.

ever-blossoming, our departed dearest...
