hello once more!

summer nears its end - thank goodness - and it was
an interesting period of work on the site. starting, of course,
with having finished the underlying framework of the site -
though there have been a few hotfixes since then that i pushed.
and which i never told anyone about, fancy that.

it's nice to have had that done, even if it was such a setback.
but ah, i've been working on actual site content now, which is nice.
just last night i finished a batch of fifty background images.

i've also mostly finished the main part of a map of the site
for my own reference. you can't see it, ever. it'll be helpful
for me, though. i had a number for the page count, but it's already
become a tad outdated, mostly because i forgot a few things.
i had teased the inaccurate number, and won't be teasing
whatever it ends up being. it can be a surprise, outside of
the fact that it's over four hundred. that figure is certainly
fluffed up quite a bit with mazes, of which there are several,
but i assure you there's going to be a
very nice amount of interesting things.

oh, and i pushed a new page recently; an "update status" page,
giving a rough and unreliable estimate for how far along work
on the coming update is. i also named the updates being worked on.
you can access that page from the blog index. seeing as you're
reading this, i imagine you already noticed that.
42% with an ETA of Q1 2023 might seem a bit low,
but i get the feeling progress will
accelerate quite a bit going forward.

oh, and hey! i finished my first song, Dreadful Serenade, just
a month ago. you can listen to it and download it over on the
music page. i'm quite proud of it, so do
listen to it if you haven't yet.

that's about all i have to say for now.
i'll continue to work on the coming update.

take care, and i will see you some other time!
