hello again, it's been a while!

there hasn't been much of anything occuring in plain sight...
but i've been doing quite a bit behind the scenes, most of which
either has been explicitly for the website, or will tie into it
in time. much of that has been what has just now been pushed -
overhauls to almost all of the older pages. that's right!
nearly the entire site has been given a much-needed
repolishing. i've gotten better at a lot of these
things, and so some older pages were starting to
look empty, if not outright shitty.

you may be wondering... what about the archives? well,
they're still happening. but... one thing led to another,
and things just haven't gotten done very fast. now, i've made
plenty of things that will end up being used in that update...
but in terms of putting it all together, it's been waiting a while
i must admit. at any rate, it's going smoothly. it's not going
fast - or all that efficiently - but it is going smoothly.

it doesn't help that the scope of the update kept increasing
as i worked on it. i think i have a very solid idea of what
it will look like now, yet it's more daunting than ever.
but i'll do it! i was very tempted to just throw in what i
had done so far into this update, and add the rest as it
was complete. however, both i and the twitter poll i
conducted ultimately decided against this. drip-feeding it
probably just isn't the right call. but, whatever! i hope
you'll enjoy it when the time comes, and i do hope
you enjoy giving the site another look now,
with all of its new visual flair.
